BioMy name is Mia. I'm 15, from Bristol. I started this journal to tell my story. the oil crisis seems to have made things more relevant than I realised.
[Author note - this is a fictional character for the online alternative reality game world without oil (www.worldwithoutoil.org).
My normal livejournal is darrkespur, and my name Tomas L. Martin. In reality I'm a male sf writer in my twenties, also from Bristol.
I've been meaning to write a peak oil story for a while and thought writing a fictional character would give me more leeway for story arcs than by using myself.
I may add author notes at the bottom of posts talking about the more complicated elements - things Mia would not think about, not yet.
A lot of people have written excellent analysis already but I wanted to approach it from a more fictional, story-based experience. I hope you enjoy.]
